I don't know for sure, but it seems every software-producing organization has to relearn once in generation Fred Brooks' fundamental insight, written down more than half a century ago: Adding man-power to a late project makes it later. Delivering a baby takes 9 month, no matter how many mothers are on the payroll. Happy to lend you my copy of the mythical man-month, so you can read twice as fast. It is the iron law of software engineering.
I am living and breathing software since I was 9 years old and got my hands on the keyboard of a machine with a BASIC interpreter. That is three decades now. I shall be damned if I allow anyone to ruin it for me.
