Pet peeve: The next time someone uses lever as a verb, where "to use" would be a perfectly cromulent choice of word (that is more than nine out of ten times), I will use an actual lever (think a wrench, maybe a crowbar for repeat offenders) to whack some stylistic sense into them... And while I am at it: the same rule applies for folks who use architect as a verb.
